Looks great and works well, but it makes allot of noise. There's an almost constant gurgle or banging sound, it can be quite distracting when the house is otherwise quiet.

Bought this refrigerator as a second refrigerator for my basement to allow another place to store leftovers and drinks. This unit replaced an old 50 plus yr General Electric unit which was still working fine however not energy efficient. It's only been a few weeks since delivery but it's so far serving it's purpose, bought the 3 yr warranty also because to be frank, I'm not expecting this unit to sustain as my other one did, but I do have faith in whirlpool and the kenmore (made by whirlpool) products. Only time will tell

My husband bought this frig for us to use until our large French door refrigerator is replaced by our home warranty. This frig will be kept for overflow on holidays and as a back up. It's pretty quiet and spacious but the door shuts so that it's difficult to tell it's completely closed.

I bought this refrigerator to replace another brand 8 year old refrigerator with parts too costly to repair. Our long time appliance repairman recommended Whirlpool as one of the better refrigerators and suggested other brands not to buy because they required more servicing and seemed to die out sooner than Whirlpool. This is second fridge we use at our house so the size is perfect.

I am happy with this new refrigerator. I live alone, and have a few family members visit about 3 times a week. I prepare dinners on those nights and have to keep enough food items in stock. There is room in there for all that I need including freezer space. My previous foreign made refrigerator gave a lot of problems and was disposed of after only 7 years. I am hoping his one will last a very long time.

So tired of the french door, water dispenser, pull out lower drawer, blah, blah, blah. Tired of fridges that do everything, but consistently keep your food cool or frozen and don't have a constant hum! No more bells and whistles! I bought the fridge a month ago when it was on sale and it looks nice and works well. I have found that the fridge temperature seems to vary a bit day to day which I can read from a thermometer I put inside. I would rather not run the fridge on its maximum cooling settings.

It is a good refrigerator. It is my second one. The first one had a leak in the Freon and I didn't buy the warranty. It was 3 years old. I felt they should have fixed it. But no. It was a problem on the inside I did nothing to break it. They said it is a common problem. So buy the extra warranty.

Too early to know if this appliance is reliable long term. Does make a strange noise at times when it comes on. Loud noise in door hinge a few days after delivery was stopped when delivery guys came back, removed door and removed very small pieces, may have been metal. Had to remove the metal strip on the compartment in door that lifts up, kept falling out when lifting out tall containers placed there.

Freezes food in fridge and thaws food in freezer as stated in sooooo many reviews. I have spent hours on the phone with whirlpool to try to get this fixed. They use a company Called Platinum to service their warranty appliances in my area. Whirlpool will give you a time frame for service and then platinum callls the day before and says they can't honor that honor that time frame and whirlpool doesn't know their schedule ,which is not good when you've arranged for time off work I give 1 star for the ongoing issues I've had. The food I've thrown out and bad customer service I received form whirlpool and the their chosen contractor Platinum

This is a basic fridge with no frills. In fact, it doesn't seem to have a light in the freezer. The freezer has one shelf and I added two plastic "drawers" to help organize contents. There is additional storage space on the side door of the freezer, but the shelf guard isn't wide enough to keep items from slipping out. The temperature control system isn't straightforward. I've yet to figure out how to adjust it.

This is a very good Whirlpool Refrigerator. Coldness is evenly spread out throughout the refrigerator. I am a little surprise that the refrigerator is not that heavy. We purchased this refrigerator after having many problems with our 3-year old double-door refrigerator by another manufacturer. Although it is only 18 cubic feet this refrigerator has plenty of space for our family of three.
